To say more would ruin the fun, so I'll leave it to you to discover it all on your own.

I had to opportunity to read Rick Ludwig's "Voice of the Victim,' the second in his Maui mystery series. As it's said, "Maui nō ka 'oi," - Maui is best," unless there's been a mysterious murder. Delving into mythology, Rick takes the reader on a thrilling ride from the shores of Maui to Athens as MPD Detective-Sergeant Keone Boyd pursues his elusive quarry.

This exciting chapter of the Maui Mysteries takes you to a world beyond worlds and keeps you on your toes. The action keeps going right up to the very end. I found myself reading past my bedtime, constantly surprised and cheering for the good guys!

“Voice of the Victim” is a wonderful addition to the Detective Boyd series. The crimes, the suspense, and the locations keep this particular novel on the go.
